In this segment, project management tools and strategies will be utilized to propose the support and potential implementation of a small nursing informatics project. While there may not be an immediate opportunity to put this proposed project into action, it serves as a practical exercise for applying the necessary skills and considerations involved in conceptualizing a project of this scale within the realm of nursing practice. To fulfill this project’s requirements, you will delineate a small informatics project that could yield benefits for your healthcare organization or nursing practice. You should engage in discussions with senior leadership within your practice or organization, elucidating your intention to design, plan, and present a proposal for executing and evaluating a small informatics project feasible within the nine-week duration of this course.
