

Angina is a clinical symptom often associated with physical exertion. Acute and chronic angina is approached differently. This condition is often concomitant with diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension. Risk stratification will be discussed, along with rational drug selection and treatment algorithms.
Additionally, this week will include hyperlipidemia. There are familial tendencies as well as lifestyle considerations when addressing this topic. This unit will explore treatment options and criteria to improve lipid profiles in your patients.
